The men’s ministry at ERPC promotes honesty and humility through authenticity. We discuss how God’s word is and is not acted out in our lives and how we can be better leaders of our families and better members of our congregation. We strive to be open and honest about the reality of how we live and where we fail. We strive to promote an environment of love and encouragement while also pushing each other towards holiness. We nurture a mindset that is willing to be honest while also knowing that at times we will have to be ready for real accountability which leads to action.
Brothers I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. (Philippians 3:12-15)
The men of ERPC meet once a month as a group to discuss topics that affect us specifically. This meeting is open to all male members and regularly attending guests. Our church also has several small groups that meet on a more regular basis with the same basic goals in mind. These groups may or may not be open to others, for privacy reasons, depending on the groups preference.
